Lee Morris BVSc DVSc DipACT, Registered Specialist Veterinary Reproduction. Graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Science at University of Sydney in 1992. She became a Diplomat of the American College of Theriogenologists in 1997 and completed her Doctorate in Veterinary Science studying in vitro fertilisation in sheep at the University of Guelph in 1998. Her post doctoral studies (1998 - 2001) included low dose insemination in the mare and in vitro fertilisation in the horse at the TBA Equine Fertility Unit, UK. In 2001 she was the Senior Registrar in equine reproduction at the University of Sydney and studied sex preselection of stallion sperm. Lee is now the Director of EquiBreed NZ Ltd www.equibreed.co.nz. Research projects include epididymal sperm, sex-sorted sperm, stallion nutrition and stem cell biology.
