Texas A&M University Dr. Varner is a professor of theriogenology in the Department of Large Animal Clinical Sciences and has a joint appointment in the Department of Animal Science. He holds the Pin Oak Stud Chair of Stallion Reproductive Studies. In addition to his numerous publications, Dr. Varner has delivered lectures worldwide on the subject of stallion reproduction. His primary clinical and research emphasis relates to improving the fertility of stallions and the development of new technologies for evaluation and manipulation of gametes.
