Queens University Professor Sheena Lewis’ research is focused on male infertility and in particular sperm DNA damage testing where her goal has been to identify causes of and treatments for male infertility by developing novel biomarkers. She is the UK council representative for the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology; ESHRE past Chair of the Andrology special interest group of ESHRE, Chair of the British Andrology Society, executive committee member of the British Fertility Society and National Donor Gamete Trust, UK and is a founder member and past Vice Chair of the Irish Fertility Society. She is also a spokesperson for the Science Media Centre, UK and sits on numerous Andrology Editorial Boards.
